Royal Australian Mint (RAM)
The Royal Australian Mint is the sole producer of all of Australia's circulating coins. The Mint is situated in the Australian federal capital city of Canberra, Deakin.
The Mint was opened in 1965 in preparation for the transition into decimal currency which occurred on February 14th 1966.
