2017 Kookaburra World Money Fair 1oz Silver Coloured Proof Coin

The Perth Mint is pleased to present this special edition World Money Fair Coin Show Special produced for the world’s premier numismatic fair hosted in Berlin from 3 – 5 February 2017.

The coin is struck by The Perth Mint from 1oz of 99.9% pure silver. Issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965, the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the monetary denomination are depicted on the coin’s obverse.

The Perth Mint will release no more than 2,000 of the Australian Kookaburra 2017 1oz Silver Coloured Coin in special World Money Fair 2017 Coin Show packaging.

DESIGN

The coin’s reverse depicts a kookaburra perched on a fence post. The design includes the inscription AUSTRALIAN KOOKABURRA, The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark, and the 2017 year-date.

PRESENTATION

The coin is housed in a classic grey Perth Mint case within a special World Money Fair 2017 Coin Show shipper, and is accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
