2022 $1 Bicentenary of the Royal Agricultural Societies and Shows Coloured Uncirculated Coin

Each year, almost 600 agricultural shows are held in towns large and small across Australia. Farmers proudly display their produce and the community comes together to be entertained.

Marking the bicentenary of Australia’s first agricultural show and the foundation of Royal Agricultural Societies in 1822, the Royal Australian Mint is releasing this 2022 $1 Coloured Uncirculated Coin; featuring a design recognising the contribution of Australia’s eight state and territory Royal Agricultural Societies over the past 200 years.
