2024 Chinese Myth and Legends - Four Guardians “HONG” 1oz Silver Coloured Coin in Card
The Perth Mint is pleased to present this stunning 1oz silver coin, featuring the four mythical guardians in colour.
Appearing among the Chinese constellations, the four mythical guardians are auspicious creatures in oriental culture. Each guards one of the four cardinal directions (north, south, east, west) and is associated with a season (summer, autumn, winter, spring) and one of the ‘five elements’ (wood, fire, earth, metal, water) said to govern change in all things.
Struck by The Perth Mint from 1oz of 99.99% pure silver, each coin is issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965.
The Perth Mint will release no more than 1,000 of the Chinese Myths and Legends Four Guardians Hong 2024 1oz Silver Coloured Coin in Card out of a total mintage of 5,000.
