and constellations. The invention of the telescope in the early 17th century 
advanced our understanding of Earth's place within the vast cosmos. With the 
latest space telescopes, we have been able to see much further and more clearly 
than ever before, discovering huge numbers of galaxies and other fascinating 
cosmic objects, including nebulae, giant clouds of dust and gas, in which new stars 
are born.

The coin’s coloured reverse design represents the Universe with an artistic 
arrangement of astronomical bodies including Earth, ringed planets, comets, 
meteors, stars, a galaxy, and nebulae. 

The obverse depicts the Jody Clark effigy of His Majesty King Charles III, as well as 
the coin’s weight, purity, monetary denomination, and 2024 year-date.

Antiqued Coloured Coin will be released.

TECHNICAL NOTES
Elements of this coin have been individually ‘antiqued’ to give them a unique 
finish conveying the surface abrasions of an ancient artefact. As a result of this 
treatment, the appearance of each coin in the mintage may vary.

PRESENTATION
Each coin is housed in a classic display case within an illustrated shipper and 
accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
